woman moving boxesFrequent visitors to this website may have noticed that I haven't posted many new articles lately. Let me tell you why that is...

At the end of 2005, we had to move rather suddenly. We are now living in Alphen aan den Rijn, a town about of about 70,000 people in the west of the Netherlands. It's about 30 minutes from cities like Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam and Utrecht.

Earlier this year, the National Archives have asked me to fill in as an ICT consultant for 3 days a week. Since March, I've been working there besides still running my own business as a freelance consultant in the heritage sector.

Between moving/decorating and juggling two jobs, I've not had much time to spend writing articles. I still love doing it though so I'll try to post something new now and then. Today I've written a short article about emigration to Australia which includes links to many interesting websites that I hope people will enjoy.
