This website promises to protect the privacy of the visitors and the people named on the website.

Personal information

Any personal information that you provide, like your name and e-mail address, will be handled confidentially. We will not provide your personal information to third parties. You will not be put on a mailinglist or receive any mass mailings unless you explicitely choose to do so.

Genealogical information

To protect the privacy of living people and because the website is hosted in the Netherlands, we follow the Dutch 'Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens' ('Protection of personal information act'). This means we will not publish identifiable information about persons who may still be alive without their prior consent. As a rule of thumb, we refrain from publishing information about people who were born after the year 1900.

Because this website allows submissions by the public, it can happen that the editors fail to notice the presence of information about people who are still alive. If you notice information about people who are still alive, please use the contact link to notify the webmaster.
