I think #5 is the least used, but most needed, reason to hire a professional genealogist. Many of the clients I’ve interacted with are quite capable of achieving their own research goals with just a little more education, training and understanding. They’ve already expressed a dedication to finding their family by hiring a pro. I love coaching them through the process.
